Tariffs have become a very hot topic during 2025. New and threatened measures now impact virtually every company that imports products from abroad. This session will provide an overview of the current tariffs in place, what exceptions exist, what future tariffs are threatened, and potential ways to reduce the impact of tariffs on your business. The session also will discuss so-called “countermeasures” from other countries targeting US exports. The session will be presented by Darshak Dholakia, a partner in the International Trade group based in the Washington, DC office of McDermott Will & Emery LLP.
