by Berkshire Bank Foundation

MANCESTER, Vermont, July 16 — Berkshire Bank Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Berkshire Bank, invested nearly $400,000 in communities through grants and other giving in the second quarter of the year.

Several Vermont organizations were among the 100 nonprofit organizations in Vermont, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island that the foundation invested in from April to June. Examples include:

1. Habitat for Humanity International Inc.
2. Rutland County Parent-Child Center Inc.
3. Rutland Regional Health Services.

“We’re committed to building a future where every community has the tools it needs to thrive,” said Lori Kiely, managing director of the Berkshire Bank Foundation. “These investments reflect our belief in the power of local nonprofits to drive meaningful, lasting change.”

The foundation supports the success of the communities the bank serves by investing in programs that aim to provide everyone with an equal opportunity at economic prosperity. Learn more about the Berkshire Bank Foundation.
