Wheels for Warmth

Established by Phil Scott in 2005, Wheels for Warmth has three goals: - Supporting emergency heating assistance - Providing safe, affordable tires - Rescuing old tires from the waste stream On Thursday and Friday October 24 & 25 from 2pm-6pm tires are dropped off and inspected by DMV officials at Casella Construction, Mendon. The tire sale takes place Saturday October 26 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. 100% of proceeds from tire sales, disposal fees and contributions go directly to emergency heating programs at Capstone Community Action, Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity, and BROC Community Action.
